LSRP Oversight

Since the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) was established in 2009, it made significant changes to how sites are remediated in New Jersey. One such change was the creation of Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRP), responsible for overseeing the environmental investigation and cleanup of sites. A LSRP may initiate remediation without the supervision of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). This allows us to clean up contaminated sites at a higher speed, allowing for a greater measure of environmental protection and faster development of underutilized properties. However, we maintain the utmost level of professionalism and adhere to a strict code of ethics with every project we undertake.

SSG-BARCO is proud to have been one of the first LSRPs to receive a license from the NJDEP. As an LSRP, our role is to oversee and supervise all day-to-day remediation efforts in accordance with all applicable standards and regulations as stipulated by the NJDEP. We work to ensure all remediation projects are protective of public health, safety, and the environment. In the event that remediation has been completed, we can issue a Response Action Outcome (RAO). In the event you are using another contractor, we can personally review and accept all remediation materials.

We offer services including tank cleaning, tank installation, and tank removal to customers throughout New Jersey.
